Chicago Social Security Disability Hearings Lawyer
Julia is part of the Case Management Team at Nash Disability Law. She started practising law in the Social Security field in 2009, prior to joining Nash, and has represented clients at the initial, reconsideration, hearing, and Appeals Council levels. Having handled cases at all levels helps her know what is needed to take the case from the application to the approval.
Julia earned her law degree at Rutgers University School of Law in New Jersey where she was a recipient of the pro bono award. Her interest in using her legal training to help people with disabilities stems from her experience as a special education teacher and advocate prior to becoming a lawyer. Julia also spent more than five years as a legal services attorney for people with disabilities handling cases involving civil rights, landlord/tenant, Medicaid appeals, and Social Security.
Julia is very proud to be able to devote her career to helping people struggling with disabilities.
