Devyn Cook

Devyn received her law degree from the University of Notre Dame in 2004. Prior to law school, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, with a minor in Spanish, from Kent State University, where she graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.

Before joining the Nash team in 2018, Devyn provided e-Discovery services to top law firms and corporations engaged in litigation and investigations involving antitrust, breach of contract, corrupt business practices, financial reporting, intellectual property disputes and pharmaceutical products liability.

Devyn has performed a significant amount of volunteer work in the immigration field, both during and after law school, including work as a legal screener for the New Americans Initiative Citizenship Workshops. Additionally, Devyn spent time as a volunteer with the Legal Assistance Foundation of Chicago, interviewing low-income clients with housing and family law issues, and researching and preparing court filings for staff attorneys. Devyn’s volunteer work reflects her continuous desire to assist clients who are not in a position to fight for themselves. Joining the Nash team was the perfect opportunity for her to pursue this goal on a full-time basis.

Devyn was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, and has lived in Chicago since 2004.
