Demetra leads the Intake Team at Nash Disability Law. She has also been a member of the Hearing Team and Case Management Team during her tenure at the firm. From serving in every capacity at Nash Disability Law, Demetra has gained insight into the Social Security Disability claim process from beginning to end, thus providing her with the depth of knowledge necessary to strategize winning cases at the intake level. In addition to obtaining favorable results before Social Security’s Administrative Law Judges, Demetra has also had success before the United States Railroad Retirement Board.
Demetra graduated with High Honors from Chicago-Kent College of Law. She gained certification as a mediator through her clinical experience with the Center for Conflict Resolution in Chicago, learning how to find solutions by thinking outside of the box.
Prior to Law School, Demetra graduated from Indiana University suma cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science and minors in Russian and Eastern European Studies and Spanish language. She studied Spanish through the Indiana University Honors Program in Foreign Languages, spending a summer in San Luis Potosí, Mexico in an immersion program to learn the Spanish Language.
Demetra is a member of the Chicago Bar Association’s Social Security Disability Law Chapter.
