James Leeny’s clients describe him as a compassionate listener, a hard worker and a persuasive, energetic, detail-oriented and effective voice for their needs.
It makes sense. His background includes both the law and master’s level study of communications.
For more than 30 years, James has devoted himself to advocating for people with disabilities and people who need Social Security Disability benefits.
For his clients today, he brings deep experience and perspective on disability law and the people and processes of the Social Security Administration.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in communications from Eastern Michigan University while working full time. He attended the master’s program in communications at the University of Illinois and earned his law degree from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, where he graduated with Honors.
James is a Michigan state champion public speaker and was distinguished as Best Orator in the Herzog Moot Court Competition during law school.
