Kelsey Leingang Receives Award for Social Security Disability Article

Kelsey Leingang, a former law clerk at Nash Disability Law, and Loyola University law school graduate, recently received an “Honorable Mention” from the National Academy of Social Insurance for her law review article about Social Security Disability benefits, including many of the system’s inefficiencies. At the time she received her award, Kelsey spoke with Acting Commissioner of Social Security Carolyn Colvin regarding some of the recent changes in Social Security Disability decisions.

While with NDL, Kelsey helped to manage the claims of thousands of our clients; submitting medical records; assuring their cases were being properly reviewed by SSA; and requesting approval of their cases without a hearing – unfortunately, now a rare occurrence.

Congratulations, Kelsey!
