Spring Blossoms at a Free Family Event

Every spring, Macy’s on State Street bursts and blooms with the spirit of the season. For 2016, the theme for the Spring Flower Show is “America The Beautiful.” Join in this free celebration of America’s vast and varied landscapes with an exhibition of two million flowers and exotic topiaries to celebrate each of our nation’s regions from sea to shining sea. The Spring Flower Show runs from March 20 to April 3.

Since its beginnings in the 1970s, visitors to this annual spring event have enjoyed workshops and shopping in an “in-store garden.” “Family Fun Days” encourage family participation with free face painting and arts and crafts for the children.

Macy’s on State Street was built in 1892 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
