Two and one half million lights and hundreds of dynamic displays will transform the Lincoln Park Zoo into a winter wonderland for 29 nights starting the day after Thanksgiving and continuing through New Year’s Day. This FREE event will delight the entire family, and the zoo promises it will “include visits from Santa, ice sculptors, festive activities and sweet treats of all kinds.”
So bundle up, get in the holiday spirit, and head to the Lincoln Park Zoo at 2011 N. Clark Street for this annual winter tradition (and you will likely see a few animals, too). The first 1,000 people through the gates each night will receive special glasses to view the lights. Dates and times are November 24–26, December 1–3, 8–23, 26–31; and January 1–7, 2018, from 4:30pm-9pm.
Please note some evenings are ticketed events with an admission charge. For more information and a calendar showing the free and ticketed events, visit the Lincoln Park Zoo website.
