Teaming up with the Puerto Rican Arts Alliance, Navy Pier will host “Noche Caribeña” the evening of August 10. This special free concert will highlight a fun-filled evening of dance, tropical music, and cultural expression, with musical ensembles from Latin America and the Caribbean.

This lively, festive event happens on the Lake Stage in Polk Brothers Park from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

For more than 20 years as a cultural resource, the Puerto Rican Arts Alliance has been offering Chicagoland one-of-a-kind arts experiences and arts education programs. PRAA also operates three community centers in Chicago (PRAA Center, Humboldt Park Field House, and Latin Music Project Center) and also partners with Chicago Public Schools and organizations across the Midwest to offer after-school classes and events on-site.

Navy Pier says that “[g]etting [here] has never been easier. Whether you’re driving and parking, traveling on the CTA, riding your bike or renting a Divvy, taking advantage of Navy Pier’s free trolley service, or taking the Shoreline Water Taxi, there’s no bad way to reach the People’s Pier.”
